Yes, on collection of the vehicle you will need to provide proof of payment and the credit card used to make payment.
In case you receive a fine during your rental, you will receive the fine notice from Fines Victoria, that you will have to pay. In addition, your credit card will be charged a fine administration fee.
You can cancel your booking at any time. Please keep in mind the following cancellation policy applies for online bookings:
Cancelling the bookings 7 or more days prior to the collection date to the vehicle will result in a full refund of the purchase price.
When cancelling less than 7 days prior to the collection date, the cancellation fee will be equal to the sum of three (3) rental days as per the rental fee of the booking , and if the notice is provide less than three (3) rental days, the full rental purchase prices will be retained by SG Car Rentals.
No refund will be provided on any portion of the purchase price if the Customer fails to pick up the vehicle on the day and time of collection.
No refund will be provided for early returns or unused days when return the vehicle earlier than the booked dates and times. Any used portion of the Optional Extras purchased at the time of collection will be refunded to the customer.

Our rental office is located a short distance from Melbourne Airport. After collecting your luggage, please call us to arrange a pick-up via our affiliated courtesy shuttle services on 03 9339 4490 or 03 9335 4407. Your booking will be finalised following a short ride to our facility. You will be collected by United Airport Parking Shuttle who will deliver you to our rental office conveniently located at United Airport Parking adjoining the Mantra Melbourne Airport Hotel.

Yes we have a range of child restraints and booster seats for you to choose from. Please note, child seats can only be hired when renting an SG Car Rentals vehicle. It is recommended that Baby and booster seats are attached to your online booking as during extremely busy periods to avoid missing out.

Yes you can. However please note we do not refund unused hours or days of rental previously booked unless we accept extenuating or personal circumstances has caused early return on a longer rental.

We will do our best to accommodate you in the event of a delayed flight and can have staff stay beyond our normal closing time to greet you. But in some cases it may be necessary to move your booking forward to the following morning. If we have not heard from you in advance though our branch will shut at its normal closing hour so please call us before you board your delayed flight.

Yes, you can drive on toll roads in your rental car. Our cars are tag-less and the licence plate is captured to identify when a toll road is used. When you rent with us you agree to pay all toll costs including the applicable charge for the toll road used as well as a service fee of $1.10 (incl. GST) for each toll charge. We will debit your nominated card as soon as practicable after the relevant toll fees are incurred. Please note that fees will not be immediately charged once you have used the toll road. You will receive a tax invoice sent to the email address listed on the booking from SG Car Rentals detailing the toll amounts and administration fees.
